Elisabetta Ferrari has worked in tertiary education in Australia for the past two decades in various capacities. She currently teaches in the Italian Studies program at The University of Melbourne. Following university study in languages and literature in Italy, she completed a BA with Honours at Monash University and a Master of Arts in Cinema Management at The University of Melbourne. Her research interests are in Italian cinema, contemporary Italian detective novels, 20th century Italian visual art and aspects of the teaching and learning of Italian.
