Amanda Jones

With a background in both social work and administration, Amanda combines her interest in people with a desire to enhance their travel experience through ensuring a tour runs smoothly and enjoyably. She has been a part of the Jane Austen Society for many decades, including time on the committee, and as Vice President, has presented papers to the Society and contributed regularly to its academic journal. She has organised and presented at several literary conferences on the work of the author Georgette Heyer and loves to bring people together around their shared love of good writing. She has travelled with ASA on both Literary Landscapes of England tours, and in addition has planned and managed many independent literary and historical journeys around England and Scotland.
